DOG TRAINING SERVICES
PRIVATE TRAINING
At this time I am only offering private one-on-one training sessions (No Group Classes or Board and Trains). In my experience, having the owner present to learn, observe and execute the training protocols helps both the owners and dogs to succeed. Dog training is never a quick fix and requires dedication, persistence, consistency, routine and takes work. Especially when we are working with dogs with behavioural issues. My training methodology is based primarily on relationship building, engagement and positive reinforcement however every dog is assessed on case by case basis and I will utilize tools from all four quadrants of operant conditioning when necessary. I will train everything from puppy obedience/kindergarten to competitive show or sport work. Behavioural modification for dogs who are aggressive, reactive, fearful, disrespectful, disregarding of owners etc. I work primarily out of my home/barn but do focus on "real world" scenarios and taking field trips once the dogs are ready. In (your) home training and virtual consultations are also available.

PUPPY TRAINING
One on one private training available for new puppies of all breeds. This puppy training program is designed to set your puppy up for his or her best chances at success. As is all my training, the puppy program is focused primarily on relationship building. Using high value rewards to help develop a healthy bond and relationship with the owners. Establishing proper socialization techniques is crucial in setting the path for a future without behavioural issues. It's much easier to mold your puppy from a young age then it is to correct undesirable learned behaviours later on. Topics that are covered are listed below under "Kindergarten".
